This little market will soon be expanding....I will add my stall to this very rustic array . This market, set amongst bougainvillea and orange trees, is selling mainly bio produce and yesterday was busy and full of fun weekend vibe. The market is located beside Amal Womens Association in the Targa area. I will be selling jams, chutneys, pickles and of course my Apple Crumble !
We sat here today and ordered omelettes and cookies and coffee . It was truly an instagrammable morning with those cerise cascades against the Marjorelle blue Moroccan sky . Life is good !
We are bombarded and saturated with endless and non stop opinion and instruction about diet. Some which may have validity, some certainly not. I was always taught to eat my greens. This is one piece of dietary advice that I find sensible , reasonable and doable. Today this glorious green bounty fresh from local gardens was at a Bio Market I visited. We all need this on our dinner tables.
Still some snow on the Atlas but lots of spring sunshine...it was a beautiful Sunday to be out and about !
This riad, Embariza Sahari, owned by my Australian friend here in Marrakech is a true place of serenity and unsurpassable beauty. Every time I visit I fall in love with it all over again.
How could I not when I open my curtains and see palms and pool and prettiness !

I think this is a familiar theme as I notice it everywhere then always talk about it ! So boring, sorry ! But Melbourne and green seem just now to be hand in hand ...I seem to notice it every day everywhere I look ...and that’s unusual as it’s Summer here and Melbourne in Summer is often brown, dry and drought stricken.
