I am an animal lover and I was so happy to have such a lovely chance to see and pet lots of gorgeous animals at the weekend. Next time I visit Jnane Tihitit I will take some carrots and apples !

Sure signs of hay fever season !
Pretty and perfumed but for many of us they cause sniffles and snuffles and sneezing. I grew up on an orchard full of grasses and blossoms and was allergy free. Then in adulthood although living in various cities I became a victim of this seasonal sickness. Makes no sense but come what may I get it now and badly with antihistamines and nose sprays becoming my closest companions.
Unattended Breadsticks
Early bread delivery with unexpected wow factor color coding !
Just putting the gorgeous purple aside for a moment though, I do believe that if bread was delivered like this and left unattended in Australia it would be stolen. Security breadcams would be installed for sure !
Beaded Beauties
These beaded bejewelled and sequinned chiffony fabrics are sold here in Marrakech at very high prices. The come from India ! Once you buy your meterage then you hand it over to your dressmaker for your creation to be realised. Apparently it would almost be cheaper to fly to London to buy one from a store !
Harira in Massira
I am such a soup lover !! The local Moroccan chickpea and lentil version is a favourite of mine and even more so when accompanied by glistening sticky chebekia cookies and hot fresh msemen. Last night this delicious eating was in a bursting bustling street cafe, sitting right on the pavements of Massira, quite a densely crowded residential suburb. From dusk the main road is lined with market stalls and the sidewalk just turns into a crowd scene complete with pushing and shoving. When it gets too much, take a soup break.

Today I saw a peacock ! I had to muster up as much stealth as possible and soundlessly approach....very hard for me as I am always the bull in the china shop type.
Horse Love
As each horse was let out of its stable, I watched as this lovely stablehand kissed and cuddled each one. It was so sweet and unexpected and added to my already marvellous day at Jnane Tihitit

I Say No to the Selfie
I am not a selfie taker, totally not ever ! And, after a pet spider, a selfie stick is the last possession you would find in my home ! But, when you find a beautiful image created by a beautiful mirror , it’s impossible not to get a photo without getting a dreaded selfie . I mean, really, who wants a leathery old Australian stuck in the middle of a glorious Moroccan vista ! So please, take in the garden colours and the handcrafted lamp but overlook the human!
To Market, To Bio Market
This little market will soon be expanding....I will add my stall to this very rustic array . This market, set amongst bougainvillea and orange trees, is selling mainly bio produce and yesterday was busy and full of fun weekend vibe. The market is located beside Amal Womens Association in the Targa area. I will be selling jams, chutneys, pickles and of course my Apple Crumble !
