I know many think the mason jar has been done to death but not me....I love a mason jar. I really don't mind what's in it it either. This time is was mocktails and cocktails in Nashville but I have seen so many other things , mainly edible or drinkable, in my travels beautifully presented in mason jars of all sizes. They just carry with them that shabby chic vintage rustic feel that I can never have enough of.
Polly bought a mouse into the house last night....and another cat, a white one with no tail. I don't know whose idea it was to bring the mouse inside but I hope the event is not repeated. The sweet timid white cat scurried off when I went to pat it. Polly then decided to consume said mouse for dinner. I was appalled as she has a veritable buffet laid out in the kitchen. The least she could have done was share the mouse with her guest or show it the array in the kitchen . Bad feline manners all round and then she only ate half of her blasted catch leaving a scraggy chewed portion for me to scoop off the floor and dispose of ...ugh !!
