Today I climbed "Alter Peter" for some amazing 360 degree views . This is the tower attached to St Peters Church, Munich. Narrow wooden stairs (299 of them) wind up to a viewing platform. It is pretty cheek by jowl when you get to the top. Ad you ascend and descend, frequent breaks have to be made luckily to let people pass huffing and puffing in the opposite direction. It can be a tight squeeze as the food is fantastic here, if you get my drift !!
