Lap top, iPad, camera, phone !! I need them all, I cannot be apart from them, I love them equally, I am truly addicted. But why ? Communication for me is paramount and this takes place in many formats. Instagram, FB, Words with Friends, blogging, phone calls and messaging internationally and locally. Last weekend, there was an electrical fault causing a blackout at the hotel where I stayed. No electricity in my part of the hotel for a good 18 hours. Not a long time in the scheme of things but it meant no communication with the outside world and no charging of all my technical "pets". What do to ? In Morocco I have learned some patience . In the Western world we take so much for granted. In due course it would be resolved. So I read a real book by flickering candlelight.
