Fresh fruit is usually the first choice of Moroccans for dessert and as the fruit is so glorious here I can clearly see why. Desserts are on menus for tourists and expats with a sweet tooth like me. I had dinner with two friends last night and decided tiramisu would be the perfect end to my meal. Top marks for the presentation. Great little jar of dessert. I know there are many takes on tiramisu but this one contained a surprise, a chopped pear. It was an enjoyable dessert but sort of a long, long camel trek from any tiramisu I have known, and many have passed my lips, albeit briefly. Biscuit crumbs and an artificial creamy thing made up the layers and I swear I could taste Nutella on the top !! Fresh fruit next time, I think.
