My thoughts lie with France today, with all French people, particularly those in Paris who must feel heartbroken and scared. I am a Francophile and love living in a country where there is a strong French influence and where I speak French everyday. This and more was on my mind this morning as I walked to work. I don't carry a camera but if anything catches my eye in the lovely early light I always use my phone and hope for the best then when I get a chance I will scroll through whatever photos I have taken, usually deleting left, right and centre. What surprised me today was an inadvertent very French photo I took in the souk at about 9 am. Baguettes in a basket, such a quintessential part of daily French life, flanked by some containers in red, white and blue, the colours of the famous Tricolour.
