The Baroque style Church of St Jan Nepomuk is beside the barracks in Prague. It is off the beaten track a little, is a military church and is non denominational. It is rarely open to the public but as we passed  by on the opposite side of the road we realised it was our lucky day and we could go in.The Latin phrase  featured on the floor of the entrance translates to “This is the house of God and the gate to heaven.” Such a wonderful sentiment as you cross the threshold. Building was completed in 1727 and at one time it was used as a salt store. The interior is glorious and ornate.
