I have saved the best till last. This is the 10th little snippet on Prague and the most delicious one. After our enormous day of walking - I think it tallied up to 14 or 15 kilometres - we sat down for coffee and cakes at a cafe, Villa Richter, with a panoramic view of the whole city. But the cakes caught my eye more than the view. Between us we had an apple strudel and a berry cheesecake. Presentation was as gorgeous as the city of Prague. Hopefully my photos will tell this story. The strudel with its layers of sliced, sweet apples enclosed in a light pastry was akin to a Czech fairy tale. Upon the first bite you felt like you could live happily ever after. And the cheesecake with its wibble wobble topping of berry jelly was a soothing and creamy delight banishing any thoughts of dieting right out the window. Such a high note to end our day.
I loved Prague.... you're photos brought it all back! Well, except these luscious desserts... Beautiful city and it looks like you had a wonderful time. Do you still have the frosting? LOL
