Lucy is Very Sick

Lucy is now 15 1/2 years of age and this week has suffered a query stroke. She can partially stand and take a drink but has little interest in food and has no desire to get up or walk or even wag her tail. She sees the faces of my children but does not really engage when they speak to her. Over the next few days she might show some recovery or maybe not. This is a difficult and emotional time as all animal lovers know. She is being cared for in the most devoted fashion and as I am far from home I am very very grateful.

My Sedi had a stroke. The first few days she barely moved, but then started coming around. She never did get up easily again, and couldn't jump into the car, but she lived another 15 months. But, she was only around 13 when it happened. Fingers crossed for Lucy.
