If you blog it sometimes occurs to you that you might run out of things to blog about - I think it is called blogger’s block by the pro’s. I may sometimes lack impetus but there is never a shortage of subjects to inspire me. Travel and food will always ensure a steady stream of posts on Mosaic Road. My trip to Madrid opened up the blogging flood gates, so to speak and I have still more to share about that amazing four days. Today I want to show photos of an amazing vertical garden that many tourists may miss at the CaixaForum {pronounced casha}. It is a new cultural centre and museum sponsored by La Caixa. How nice to see a successful bank with its 13 million customers doing something for the public !! The building had a past life as an electricity station and now has an eye catching extension of oxidised cast iron. What it also has is a green wall, a vertical garden designed by Patrick Blanc, a French botanist who has done around 21 similar gardens on bland and boring walls around the world.
