I mentioned yesterday in my post that when I am on the tourist trail I prefer the more tangible. This to me means coffee and food. I pressed my nose up against the window of this wonderful cafe in London recently when I spotted something very close to my heart. Portuguese tarts no less. While not typical Brit baking, they are a worthy import from Portugal consisting of the lightest flaky pastry filled with a sweet egg custard No wonder this cafe won a prestigious award in 2014. Coffees made with organic jersey milk and home baked cakes and tarts cannot be surpassed as far as I am concerned. Fabulous and tasty tangibles !!
You do find the yummiest looking shops! Not a fan of coffee, but I could definitely eat some tarts :-)

Did you happen to spot this while passing by and feeling hungry? Or did you know and set out to find it?
