No homesickness for me ! I only had to walk a block from my very British Georgian style hotel to see Morocco. This cafe looked the part as did the menu but the prices were very London and really quite outrageous. A lamb tagine in the cafe downstairs from my apartment here in Marrakech is 8 euros and is fabulous. This cafe is charging an almighty 20 euros for the identical dish.

Because they have to pay massive rent, high staff wages, all kinds of insurance and buy expensive ingredients, which the lucky cafe proprietor in Marrakech does not!

I need to find a Moroccan restaurant here and try tagine. Although I suspect the price will me more like the London one than the Marrakesh one!
