Today I am doing something I am very bad at. I am going to be an in-patient. I will spend the day {or hopefully only the day} in hospital having some eye surgery. I do not like waiting round and I do not like missing out on coffee and breakfast and I do not like fuss and bother. So I will have to draw on inner reserves to keep smiling and just aim to get out of there as soon as possible. The procedure is elective and I am happy to have it but I am a restless fidgety type and hanging around wearing charming hospital attire does not sit well with me one little bit. Strength and patience required today and a good book - if I can see to read !!

After I woke up from my knee surgery back in March, I was just squirming to get out of the hospital! I felt fine and just wanted to go home. So I know how you feel! I hope your surgery goes well and that you're out of the hospital as quick as possible :-)
