Last week I spent in winter, highs of 19 and 20 C, in Morocco. This week I have spent in summer, highs of 19 and 20 C, in Melbourne !! How ridiculous is our summer, and so unpredictable. It is already feeling autumny with a chill in the mornings so of course this weather has called for me to make an early start on the comfort food eating I made this Nectarine Brown Betty using fruit from my tree that was frozen after cooking after picking. I have lost a lot of weight recently for a variety of reasons and I can see this situation wildly reversing rapidly with such an early onset of cooler conditions.
It is going to be a long season of comfort eating if I am starting now !!
