An artisan chocolate shop/warehouse exists in Brooklyn and I had intended on visiting, tasting and shopping there on my recent trip to New York. Things always get bumped of the to do list when travelling and sadly I did not make this anticipated visit. To my surprise , the lovely son of a friend of mine, came bearing gifts from New York over Christmas. He was to be with us for Christmas Day but succumbed to a dreadful bug, probably caught on the plane. His mum bought to me The Mast Brothers Chocolate cookbook and a hefty tablet of their finest chocolate on his behalf. Such wonderfuls gifts, so thank you N and I will think of you as I whip up my next chocolate concoction..
