Minus 2 here today with such a wind chill factor that it felt like minus 12.
We are all rugged up to the nines but this makes taking photos hard with endless amounts if gloves on, gloves off.
We have walked and walked all day after having a fabulous brunch in Williamsburg. I have seen so many quintessential sights that just spell NYC.
I wish I had stopped here for cider . The girls tried apple cider slushies at a bar last night, sounds cold but delicious. Katzens was bursting at the seams with people and I did not get to lay eyes on their famous pastrami sandwhich but will try again. In fact, every cafe and bar was full with queues.
Tenements and brownstones with all those exterior stairs line the streets. To see them up close is wonderful and they just remind me of old movies especially Breakfast at Tiffany's.So much of New York is familiar because of movies and books and I am loving having a first hand experience after dreaming about it for so long.
Ahhhh, -12 is warm compared to the temps we get here in January! ;-) So happy that you're able to see places and things you've dreamed about seeing :-)

Westside Story! Thanks for the weather warning. Gran bought me a woollen beanie for the trip.
