This morning as I was getting in from the gym at 7 am, my neighboour was just arriving back from his 3 am flower buying jaunt for his florist. He rushed up my steps with 2 glorious and fragrant bunches of lily of the valley. They are the most breathtaking tiny flowers with a scent that fills the whole room. It seems such an old fashioned flower seen quite infrequently in gardens these days . Only about 4 days ago we were given a whole bucket of blue hyacinths, another lovely and heavily scented flower. No one could have a better neighbour !!!!
They are gorgeous! (I would like to swap neighbours)

Lily of the valley are so pretty :-) If you plant them in your garden, they spread out and grow bigger and bigger every year. Too bad they don't last very long, though.
Your neighbour goes to work at 3:00AM?! YIKES!
