My wonderful florist neighbour apeared again this week with floral tributes - two bunches of something amazing. They are pale peach and pale green and shaped like a small tulip but the tightly furled petals are ruffled. Apparently a virus is injected into the bulb to cause the frilly effect. They are delicate and quite incredible . I am sure they are a tulip but must have been flown in from far off lands as it is not the right season here. I wonder what he will appear with next week !! I will bake for him at the weekend but my offerings have no hope to even come close to equalling these beauties.
Beautiful :-)))
