Today I baked. I used one sad [and expensive] banana up in a sultana cake. I am really a novice with this fan forced cooking and I think I have made this too dry. I put a cinnamon streusely thing on top which probably made it a bit drier too. But there are solutions and we will eat it warmed up with caramel sauce and it will become a sticky sultana cake.
I think a sticky sultana cake sounds yummy :-)
I have no idea what fan forced heating is. Is it like a convection oven?

You'll get there - 10 per cent lower or if 175 I'dl lower the temp to say 165 and probably use a little bit more milk/butter etc. I made passionfruit sel saucing puds other night and yah they worked, but the previous ones were drier. I'm still learning too - a work in progress! X

I've found fan-forced to be at least 10-20 degrees hotter than ordinary oven so you have to shorten baking time a lot or bake at a much lower temp when fan is on
