Just currently my sister and I are helping my mother, 87, get organized and packed up to move into an aged care community. So there are endless amounts of knick knacks and vases and glasseware to be dealt with. Some I am selling on Ebay on her behalf. We cam across these 4 tiny little liqueur glasses from the 1940's. They are so delicate and have a grapevine pattern etched on to them. I was thrilled to see them . I so clearly remember, as a a child, finding glasses and coffee cups sitting on the sink one morning, unwashed, after a dinner party my parents must have had, including these. This must have been in the 1960's and we certainly had no dishwasher - did anyone then????? A tiny green puddle was at the bottom of each of these liqueur glasses and I stuck my finger into each one and licked it . Yes, creme de menthe !!
Yes Kate, you have to keep them now with that story!

Hope these are not on ebay! If so I'll buy them back for you all! Gorgeous!
