My old lap top has been retired. It has been running very, very slowly for a few months now which has tested my patience to the limit. It is about 4 years old and has been a good and faithful and constant companion. After a trip to Computers Now it has been replaced with the weight watchers version, the wafer thin and lightweight MacBook Air. Thanks to two helpful and computer savvy children all my data has been transferred and here am I blogging away happily on my new best friend. We have already bonded well and I forsee a contented future ahead for us.

Oooh, Kate I am very jealous. I am currently angling for a laptop of my very own. I do everything on the desktop comp and try to manage with the iPhone when we are away from home, but the phone is becoming less and less capable of doing what I need to do.
