Last night I popped in quickly to a party next door to wish A a happy 40th. It was a lovely birthday party with a nice number of guests enjoying a summer evening outside. They had a bar tender there and lovely looking finger food. I had a cocktail called a Moscow Mule - it was delightfully easy to drink with vodka, ginger ale and lots of mint and lemon.
After chatting to quite a few neighbours I went home to have dinner with S and T. As we sat our on the deck eating we could enjoy the live music and listen to the speeches. We share a common inside wall and side fence with A and her husband L and I feel so lucky to have them so close as they are such warm and friendly neighbours. Happy Birthday A !!!
Oh - typo - vodka is in a Moscow Mule not rum ! Thats what happens when i drink - I cant tell the difference between vodka and rum !!
