I love Sunday morning ! In winter I get up and run even if it is late morning but in summer my running is virtually abandoned due to the heat . That's my excuse anyway !! So I lie in bed on Sunday mornings and no thoughts of exercise even enter my head. I read and peruse stuff on line and then mostly we head out for coffee late in the morning.
We are so spoilt for choice and a zillion cafes abound, all within a short drive or even shorter walk. Today we went to Thread Cafe. It was our first visit there and it was pretty good. Great art work on the walls and friendly service were stand outs for me, as were the pretty blue and yellow china and attractive food presentation. T gave his breakfast 7/10 and both S and I had to return our coffees as they were so milky. We did asked for them to be made stronger and the replacement coffee was fabulous I must say. The dukkah on the poached eggs was a nice touch too.
Nice way to start the day!

Only slightly relevant but those cappucino photos remind me to tell you - today in the Age is a cute photo of a "pand-cino" with panda face decoration on top of the milk to celebrate the arrival of pandas at a zoo in Japan - I'm trying to find you a link but no luck yet.

Wow, great looking eggs, Kate!
We had no polocrosse this weekend so I spent some quality time with my bed and my book this morning. Our horse trod on my daughter's foot last weekend and cracked a bone, so she wasn't allowed to play. I think she appreciated the sleep-in too.
