Our radar has looked like this all day and I think it is forecast to rain till Sunday. It is incredibly humid and all this makes for a very disappointing summer. Nothing will dry, mosquitoes abound and it is hard to walk the dogs. The garden will be a tropical jungle by next week and I will need a machete to fight off the zucchini plant that has now run amok. My problems are minor though compared to what is going on in the rest of Australia. One side of the country is under catastrophic flood and the other side has dreadful bushfires. It may be wet here but I have a roof over my head and my family is safe. I may be a little inconvenienced by the weather here but there are so many suffering incredible losses in Queensland and Western Australia, how dare i complain !!
We keep getting updates on the floods in Brisbane on the news reports here. Not so much about the fires in the west, but I've heard about those too.
Below-zero temps and snow don't seem so bad when compared to what's going on Australia right now. Hope things start looking up for everyone effected by the floods and fires soon.

We've seen a lot of film of the flooding in Queensland on the news. So many people missing and dead. So terrible.
