Dec 1 - time to reveal my bake'n blog completion for Kelly's holiday edition found here . I chose molasses cookies from a lovely blog - you can see it here. Well my molasses cookies became a molasses cookie slice when I discouvered I had no plain flour. I went ahead and used self raising flour and a new take on this great recipe was created and enjoyed.
Nothing was lost by making this a bar slice and it was gingery and fudgey and sugary - just delicious.
That cake looks great. And the decoration... those bells, are the cherry on top. It gives me such a good feeling of Christmas when I look at it...
