'This is not a particularly glamorous culinary photo but it was a delicious and new crock pot recipe that I can highly recommend to all porridge lovers. It took about 6 hours cooking away on low and the mix of grains was so innovative. The grains that go into this recipe are brown rice, burghul, millet, oats and cornmeal. Water is added and then dried fruit and cinnamon and vanilla. Sugar is an optional extra. I had no millet so doubled my burghul. I used tinned cranberries as I was also without any dried fruit. When it was done I added chopped banana. What a fabulous cereal. Again the amount made enough to take me through the week and I will look forward to this wonderful bowl of mixed grains when I get up.
I love everything that has oats/grains/cereals in it, so this is just great! Will you please send me the recipe?
