Last night was the end of the working and school week. Babydaughter18 and I were bone weary and feeling pretty jaded in general. I was particularly unhappy as I had had to cancel my dinner plans due to a co worker not turning up for work leaving me to pick up the slack and work an extra 1 and 1/2 hours at the clinic. So I filled my hot water bottle, plumped up lots of pillows and took to my bed with magazines. Babydaughter18 joined me, bringing her own collection of pillows and a movie to watch on her laptop. We had supper on a tray - hot bread, dips and camembert !! It was such a fun reward !!
