These are Pumpkin and Maple muffins. The maple syrup is the sweetener, no other type of sugar is added. Who knows if this makes them better or worse for you healthwise ? What I do know is they were very yummy indeed especially warm from the oven. As they cooled they became more dense. I love using the baking parchment muffin cases as it saves having to wash the tray but also gives a "cafe" look to any home baking. These cases certainly take my baking up a notch appearance wise as finesse in presentation has never been one of my strong suits, sadly !
