Yesterday while the patient met with friends for a quick lunch I had an hour or so to fill in - this is, as you know, the taxi driver's lot in life. So I headed for Albert Park Lake and ran the entire track . I just kept running. I did not permit myself either a peek at my watch or a breather. I did the whole thing in 25 minutes and was so proud, proud as a peacock in fact . The chocolate running companion had been left behind with a bone in the back yard. High gusting winds and the large swan population at the lake would have resulted in mayhem on the end of the lead. I celebrated my achievement with a trip to the supermarket - a riveting reward, I know !!
