Look What is in My Garden Despite Furnace-like Heat and High Winds

I am no gardener but I think this is a gardenia or relative of . I have 2 little bushes planted and although not thriving - is anything in this drought - it has managed to grow a little tiny flower, just one I might add .

This is just gorgeous. You'll know it's a Gardenia by the really aromatic perfume. No, I'm not an expert but my in-laws used to have a bush.
