Gluten free, easy, no bake, no added sugar and no added fat - what could be better ?? I put dates and almonds and oats into food processor and blitz together then add other ingredients - everything should resemble a mulch and come together quite quickly. There are no rules here so increase or decrease ingredients as desired or as needed to get a pliable dough for rolling into balls or alternatively press into a slice tray and cut into squares. Hide in fridge then serve in small gorgeous Moroccan bowl.
- 1 cup pitted dates - soft squidgy ones
- few drops pure vanilla extract
- pinch salt
- 2 heaped tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup blanched almonds
