I have, this week, been in my job for fourteen years !! Sometimes it feels like a sentence, sometimes not. I am always happy when at work but often drag my feet getting there. Those fourteen years at the coal face have vanished in a blink of an eye. The best thing is that I have such lasting friendships with my co workers as they have been at the clinic for nearly as long as me . Very few changes in staff have been made in this time and we always have a lot of fun. I am quite loud - some may say vivacious, others may say obnoxious - but I think I do a good job and the patients and my team seem happy with singing and dancing often taking place. My friend Jane started work at the clinic on the same day and yesterday one of the doctors paid tribute to us !!!
QUOTE - you guys are legends and have done so much to raise the profile of blondom in this establishment !! Betweent the two of you, you can soften the hardest patient [that means Jane] or in bloodhoud style [meaning me] you can track down the most elusive specialist on demand. I shudder to think what we would do without you both and worship the day you were washed up on our shores. This comes from a wise old man who has worked here for 36 years !!! UNQUOTE
So nice to know we are appreciated !! I wonder where I will be 14 years from now !!!!
