Day 16 ended with an overnight stay here. It was a wonderful guesthouse run by Tom Carling , hence the blog title.
Spa was on but due to a lack of bathers we could not use it, sadly !!
Tom cooked dinner for us and it was fish - now I am not a big fish eater but this was a huge Norwegian salmon, locally smoked and it was to die for - I had two serves. Boiled potatoes sprinkled with dill are on every table, at every meal too it seems here. We had to be on a ferry at 0830 and ride 10 kms to get to the port so breakfast was early but still a nicely presented buffet with a huge chunk of havarti cheese included.
