I think it is day 12 but I must admit to having lost track a little bit. I still have no luggage and it's status remains as untraceable. We have ridden 53 kms today. It has been fine weather but we did have a shocker of a head wind all the way. We caught one ferry at 3pm and we had to be there for it as there is only the one. Photos below are from the cafe at the tiny port where we caught the ferry. There were two or three cars but the rest of the "cargo" was made up of cyclist and their bikes. From the top when I looked down all I could see was a sea of paniers.
On our arrival at our guest house, we have enjoyed a marvellous buffet dinner and some drinks - Finnish pear cider and a very dark Czech beer. We have met up with several other people also doing our cycle trip around the Finnish archipelago, so we dined with a lovely couple from Toronto tonight. It is such fun to meet people from other countries and walks of life.
