Beautiful church - built late 1800s, full of incredible mosaics. These photos were taken at 10 pm at night - the sky still looks like it is midday. interstingly enough the architect of this church was not Russia. It was closed for many years as the Bolsheviks were destroying churches across the country .

Was the sky really that bright & blue at 10:00pm, or did your camera make it look brighter than it was? Beautiful colours & architecture on the church :-)

That church looks amazing - I wonder why they didn't destroy it? Just as well anyway! And the night sky - incredible!
