We cycled 75 kms today broken up by no less than 6 ferries. The ferries are mainly hop on hop off style to keep the traffic moving easily between islands. Some are bigger than others, some run on cables too. Some run merely back and forth and some run to a timetable, for one we even had to ring a bell to summon it !! They carry mainly cyclists and holiday makers driving big campervans or Winebagos. Some have cafes on board as well. We had magnificent weather today and rode through silent spruce forests, past pristine waterways and tiny ports full of boats.
The following photos are of our accommodation last night, a guest house mainly for passing cyclists as you can tell by the number of bikes parked outside.
