Great timber re cycling !!
So many people ride bikes in Salzburg, people of all ages too. Much of the town is car free making it perfect for cycling. Not a helmet in sight though, interestingle enough. These enormous logs are fabulous for bike stands.

I've never seen a log bike stand - great idea! I always wear a helmet when I ride a bike. I fell off my bike when I was about 10 and fractured my skull, and I don't want to go through that again!
