As you know my neighbour is a florist and regularly delivers bunches of flowers to my front door, perks of his job he says. This week 2 huge bunches of lilies came in a little round vase and so I scrubbed out the glass vase and made a trifle for him and droppped it back. I chopped up a swiss roll, doused it in peach schnapps for want of a better liquer and added a mountain of raspberries and custard.

Oooh, I want a florist neighbour too! So thoughtful of him to bring you flowers, and equally thoughtful of you to make the trifle for him :-) Such a great way to re-purpose the vase :-)
