My Season's Eatings swap parcel arrived yesterday. It was in a box posted from Atlanta, Georgia USA. Opening it up was exciting and it contained 4 very generous gifts and one surprise bonus item. I will tell you about the gifts tomorrow . The surprise item was a set of keys on a key ring and the poor owner had erroneously dropped them into the box probably at the post office. Unknowingly she had sealed them into the box along with the gourmet swap items and they were posted to me here in Australia. They have taken an overseas trip and whilst they were on the plane the owner must have been nearly having kittens just wondering how she had lost them and then possibly had new keys cut and maybe even changed some locks . I emailed her straight away to tell her the good news about my discovery and today they were posted back on their return trip.
Ha! I was going crazy...good thing they were my work keys. Just got another set. I told the story, so now, whenever someone is looking for something, they say it's in Australia. Never going to live this one down!

Our experience over Christmas is that postage from USA has been very slow, postage from Britain MUCH faster and postage from Bratislava not bad either - today I received your lovely postcard from Bratislava! Meanwhile we are still waiting for orders from USA placed weeks before Christmas.

What an adventure for those keys, and how amazing for the owner once she found out!

Whoops! I would have been having fits if I lost my keys and couldn't find them!
Has the package I sent to you arrived yet? It's been almost 3 months since I mailed it.
